Interview with Lykios

Lykios (he/him) is a queer gaming streamer. He recently helped fundraise for my new streaming computer! I asked him about himself and his content, as well as content he’s been enjoying recently. You can check out Lykios at the links at the end of the interview.

1. What queer terminology do you use for yourself publicly? Do not feel pressured to come out as anything in your answer. Please only disclose whatever you’re comfortable with.
   • I’d go with bi, but I’m still figuring myself out so I’m not really sure yet.
2. What non-queer demographic terminology do you use for yourself? Again, please only disclose whatever you’re comfortable with.
   • I identify with the Furry community, but I’m not really into many other communities besides our small streamer network.
3. What projects are you involved in?
   • I’m currently assisting with Hachiko’s Moving fundraiser for him Eury and I.
   • I also have 2 smaller projects I’m working on: I have a Star Trek TTRPG I’ve been figuring out that I want to play with a group of streamers, and I’m starting work on a Slice of Life Style Furry Universe with Hachiko.
4. What non-creative hobbies do you enjoy?
   • The Hobby I Enjoy the most would be Magic: the Gathering. I’ve invested a significant amount of time and energy into the game and I enjoy it quite a bit.
5. What does the queer community needs to do better about understanding, accepting, and supporting?
   • I have no strong opinions, but I’m open to Learning more and supporting others.
6. What are you excited about going forward? Can be anything from creative projects, personal or professional milestones, etc.
   • That’s tough. I don’t get excited about much. there’s a Werewolf themed Magic set coming out in the fall this year, but that’s about it.
7. Are there any pets or plants in your life?
   • 2 of the HachiCats love me (Himbo and Scrawney Scraggles), but i do have a cat of my own (Koz) and a dog named Jace. He’s a little football-shaped Yorkie-Pomeranian mix.
8. What content / content creators have you been enjoying recently?
   • I recently got back into Saffron Olive, he’s my favorite magic content creator.
   • I also decided to sit down and re-watch the Netflix She-ra while i worked on art that Hachiko has sent me and i have thoroughly enjoyed it.
9. What is your favorite thing about yourself?
   • My Favorite thing about Myself is the good I Inspire in others.
