  • A /ɑ/ (as in “ought”)
  • E /eɪ/ (as in “ate”)
  • I /i/ (as in “easy”)
  • O /əʊ/ (as in “oat”)
  • U /u/ (as in “oops”)
  • Y /aɪ/ (as in “ice”)

Vowels never change their sounds on Elven tongues.

Y is never a consonant in Elven usage.

  • H /h/ (as in “help”)
  • L /l/ (as in “lay”)
