Weekend Plans Mar 11-12 2023

i started reading They Were Her Property by Stephanie E. Jones-Rogers.

i’m also hoping to read another section of Where Decay Sleeps by Anna Cheung,

as well as some more Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan.

i’ve also been drawing more Piko and Chu pics lately.

got a Solnishko piece in mind inspired by this photo. that cat in the foreground will likely become Shroud.

i’m trying to stop being so precious with my art supplies. i have a bunch of post-it notes i want to use (inspired by Ovaettr’s post-it doodle commissions). i’m just worried about “wasting” them by producing terrible art. i know post-it notes aren’t toilet paper or baby formula, and that the point of experimenting is to, you know, experiment, but a lifetime of striving and straining for perfection isn’t going to wash away overnight.

draw Toshiro and Tadashi as penguins. i’ve considered them being deer, foxes, rabbits, ermines, shiba inus. i know i want them to be an arctic animal, that’s about it. and also not a fox cuz Pixxy’s cornered that market.

make Pixxy a new icon.

draw original armor for the 843rd.

for site stuff, I want to work on making pages for the rest of the gang. i’ve got one for Shadow you can look at right now.

as far as writing goes, i’m working on with what I’ve now renamed Lord of the Rescue Ring; although with my continuing adventures in Rescue Team DX, i’ve started dreaming about scenes for that story. i don’t intend to abandon Lord of the Rescue Ring. time flows differently in the faewilds~. i also think it’d just be nice to have at least one of the Red Rebels’ prior adventures outlined or something for reference.

“HFE, thank you for creating and sharing so much art and writing for free. How can we help turn your passion and skills into a full-time gig?”

I’m glad you asked!

If you can give me a one-time tip, head over to ko-fi. I’ve also got emotes and icons you can buy.

If you can commit to a monthly tip, you can set that up via twitch or patreon. Twitch also lets you set up alternate payment schedules: every three months and every six months. Ko-fi lets you set up monthly payments now, too!

You can also buy some characters and critters I’ve designed on toyhouse.

And if you have no money to spare (understandable), one way you can help me out is by commenting and using as many share buttons as possible. Commenting gives me feedback on what works y’all are passionate about. Sharing helps expose my works to new people. The bigger my audience grows, the more audience members with money will encounter my works.

Thank you for taking time to read this. I hope you enjoy what you’ve found here.
