the next minute, my brain's being sawed in half. it's not like i'm getting paid for my mind, so what does it matter? sometimes the knife's just. there. forget about the left hand not knowing what the right hand's doing. my brain's become a puzzle and none of the pieces are clicking together anymore― if they ever did before all this. a rope bridge but instead of ropes it's tied together with strings. more like cobwebs, actually, or spaghetti.
