This list focuses on Black queer streamers who have not yet reached partner (at the time of publication). So no cypheroftyr, IamBrandon, MiladyConfeti, blizzb3ar, keekeexbabyy, or CriticalBard; but if this are the first time you’re seeing these names, I encourage you to check them out as well. Black Queer content creators are some of the hardest working people in their professions as well as the least rewarded, so it’s important to give them extra support in return; especially in light of twitch’s heightened months of hate raids.
Before we get into the list, I want to take some time to explain two terms I’ll be using throughout: chill and party.
By “chill”, I mean that someone’s streams, from what I have experienced, may have no or infrequent screaming and shouting, short and soft sounds, and soft or no music. These streamers also tend to be more tranquil. They are best suited for those who have low sensory thresholds.
By “party”, I mean that someone’s streams, from what I have experienced, may have frequent screaming and shouting, prolonged and loud sounds, and loud music. These streamers also tend to be more excitable. They are best suited for those with high stimulation needs.
While these terms are intended to be a guide as to what to expect from these streamers, both are highly subjective. Everyone’s sensory and stimulation needs are different. The same person might even have different sensory and stimulation needs at different times. What I consider a party atmosphere might be someone else’s chill. And naturally, not every single streamer on the planet is going to fit neatly into one of these two categories. I urge you to try out everyone’s streams to discover what you like best.
Lastly, I recommend everyone here regardless of the atmosphere they have. A chill atmosphere is not inherently better than a party atmosphere or vice-versa. It all depends on what you want and / or need as an audience.
- Toxicidi (she/her). I can’t make a judgement on whether her games are chill or parties because Twitch just banned her for reading out the harassment she received on stream. Please, please, please lend your platform to bringing attention to this injustice. The more of us who speak out against this wrongful banning, the more Twitch will be forced to actually do something. Toxicidi’s games include: Apex Legends, Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Dead by Daylight.
- Miktastic (they/ze). gaming & pottery. chill. Ze has streamed for St. Jude, Starlight, Wounded Warriors, and the Bail Project. Mik also did an interview for the site where you can learn more about zir, their content, and content ze’s been enjoying recently. Mik’s games include Megaman X2, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Dead by Daylight, Hades, and Red Dead Redemption 2.
- FairyFatele (any pronouns). gaming, chatting, and art. chill. Fai often plays killer when fae’s playing Dead by Daylight, which I appreciate as it provides a stress-free experience for me compared to survivor streams. I do like survivor streams, but do tend to get caught up in them and anxious, so it’s nice to know I can hop into faer streams and just relax. Fai is a member of the Rainbow Arcade. Faer other games include Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Stardew Valley, Little Nightmares II, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
- shantilly_t (they/them). politics, gaming, and chatting. Shantilly is brilliant on every platform they’re on, from their music to their political insight and history threads. If you’ve made the mistake of not following them, now’s your chance to correct it. They play Sims 4.
- tee_spoonie (they/them). chatting and gaming. chill. Teona is a neurodivergent, multiply disabled queer who often plays simulation games and visual novels. Their games include Stardew Valley, Sims 4, Spiritfarer, Minecraft, and Coffee Talk.
- Shanghaid (they/them). art and gaming. chill. Shanghaid is a nonbinary digital illustrator from London. Their games include: Sonic Forces, Pokémon Unite, Sonic Mania, Sonic Unleashed, and Sonic the Hedgehog.
- a_typicalqueer (she/her). gaming and chatting. chill. Ace is a co-founder of Queer Sauce as well as the Director of Diversity Consulting for Qweerty Gamers. She is also a member of Team Sidequest and the Underworld Charity Team. Ace is also a Budget Examiner with a master’s degree in Public Administration. Her games include: Ghost Hunters Corp, Dead by Daylight, Rogue Company, Devour, and Life Is Strange.
- solstiz (she/they). gaming and chatting. chill. Izzy is a member of Soot Sprites. Her games include: Overwatch, Dead by Daylight, Sims 4, Jackbox Party Packs, Gartic Phone, and Among Us.
- iAmDorkGazmik (he/him). gaming and chatting. chill. His games include Sims 4, The Last of Us Part II, and Detroit: Become Human. Dee also unboxes cool dolls and makes even cooler doll customizations.
- GothMomV (she/her). gaming, chatting, and art. chill. Vivi is a stay at home mom and a member of Soot Sprites. Her games include Fortnite, Sims 4, Phasmophobia, Valheim, and Stardew Valley .
- LookItsLyrica (she/her). chatting and gaming. chill. Lyrica is a disabled, autistic, ADHDer mental health and disability advocate as well as an early childhood education teacher. Her games include: The Witness, Dead by Daylight, Fortnite, PowerWash Simulator, and Hades.
- meleemira (she/they). chatting and gaming. chill. Mira is a member of Sistas of the Fog and Plant Army. Mira’s games include Dead by Daylight, Garden Story, Best Friend Forever, The Garden Path, and Sims 4.

- FrenchieCorn (she/her). gaming. party. Michele is a pansexual, biracial variety horror streamer with Multiple Sclerosis. She is a member of Sistas of the Fogand the GOoODVibesTribe. Her games include: Dead by Daylight; The Walking Dead: Seasons 1, 2, & A New Frontier; Jackbox Party Packs, and Bendy and the Ink Machine.
- TiffanyWitcher (she/they). gaming and chatting. Tiffany is a nonbinary Indigenous Vtuber who’s pushing for partner in order to make a charity stream team. They are also a community manager and charity organizer for Sistas of the Fog. She is also a voice actor and accessibility advocate. She is also a member of the Rainbow Arcade. Tiffany’s games include Dead by Daylight, Judgement, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
- DarkMimi (she/her). gaming. chill. the pan faerie social media manager for Sistas of the Fog. I hung out during one of her Dead by Daylight streams on a day I was very low energy, and her chill atmosphere and friendly community was exactly what I needed. Mimi is also a member of Team Sidequest and Sistas of the Fog. Mimi primarily plays Dead by Daylight; however, her other games include Back 4 Blood, Phasmophobia, and Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
- RekItRaven (they/them). chatting & gaming. chill. Raven is a founder of the Underworld Charity Team. They’re leading the #TwitchDoBetter movement on twitter. They, along with ShineyPen and LuciaEverBlack, are organizing a day off twitch (September 1st) in response to the hate raids. They are the subject of #StandWithRaven, which was created in response to them being harassed and hate raided for two and a half hours on stream. Raven’s games include: First Class Trouble, Back 4 Blood, Almighty: Kill Your Gods, It Takes Two, and Ghost Hunters Corp.

I will leave her old entry as a testament to what Black queer streamers have been facing amidst these hate raids, as well as to document Twitch’s incompetence. But here is an updated version.
- Toxicidi (she/her). chill streamer, party streams. I caught her at the end of a 21-hour+ stream. Tox was clearly tired, but she was also super nice to me and every other newcomer to her platform. Her account has been restored, but she still lost a day of income, on top of Ttich taking 50% of subs, and requiring at least $100 before they pay out anything; as well as the emotional and mental toll of this affair and constant hate raids going back months. Please go support her.
